The aims of the society:

The purposes of the Beaumont Society are to form an association of those who crossdress, are transvestite or who are transsexual and, through this association, to provide a means of help and communication between members, in order to reduce emotional stress, eliminate the guilt and so aid better understanding of them by their families and friends.

To promote and assist by all possible means the study of gender role differences.

To inform lay and professional groups about crossdressing, transvestitism and transsexualism, as well as about the work of the society and by such and any lawful means, to gain public understanding and tolerance for this mode of behaviour and help for those so affected.

To engage generally in any cause or project to promote the above purposes and to do anything necessary and proper for their accomplishment.
